The prompt this week at Our Midweek Muse is "View from My Window."  This isn't exactly my window, but I do live in the high desert and this scene is from the high desert.  

Flocks of Sandhill Cranes do fly overhead in season, and Roadrunners and Gambel's Quail families were in my yard before I rescued my dog.  And the Vulture?  Well...  When I leave a window or door open, I do get vultures, but they are much smaller.   🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰 😊

Digital Whisper - Drive-in Movie

Here is my artwork, the Movie Poster, a Ticket to the show and a piece of the film from the reel.  

I loved Audrey Hepburn when I was a teenager and tried to look like her, same hair styles, lipstick, etc.  Breakfast at Tiffany's was my favorite movie for a long, long time.  In fact, the music from the movie, Moon River, was the theme of my high school Senior Ball.  It's kind of sweet to have her starring in my own personal movie!

Memorial Day in the United States is a federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May.  It honors and remembers the men and women of the U.S. military who have died in service to their country  The holiday originated after the Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who had died, and it was originally known as Decoration Day.  Over time, Memorial Day has evolved to honor all Americans who have died in military service.

Our Midweek Muse - Dreams

I can't think of any dreams that I haven't fulfilled.  But if I had the option to visit any place in the world, it would Africa - to go on Safari.  So here's a piece of artwork of me documenting the animals in a journal on one of the trips out into the Wildlife Reserve.  And also a cool hotel I might stay at while in Africa.
